Currently the EV bikes available in market are somewhat at the borderline. They have limited top speed, uncertain range and vague future/support. So it's a gamble to invest on such bikes because they're not cheap, their prices are above 2 lacs.
If you've solar at home and think that you'll retain the bike for next 3-4years (may the bike parts/battery remain good in that time), and then assume you'll dispose off the bike or keep running or standing at home later on (currently the resale of EVs is very low), then you should buy an electric one.
