Does EPS have Steering Fluid? Also, my EPS makes screeching noise when rotating, what could be the problem? Car is Civic 2004 Vti Oriel Prismatic

EPS has MOTOR in place of hydraulic pump, hence no OIL is eps system.

Ur car has HPS, and the screeching sound is belt slipping on power steering pump.

Bro it has EPS installed. The screeching is not from under the hood, its from the steering box upon rotating, just as a noise something would make when its dry.

And to answer the question of eps fluid.

Yes such systems exist, like nissan sedans use, mazda 3/axela, some fords also, infact the 2nd gen toyota mr2 had oil filled electric power steering,

The oils can be a lightweight mineral high VI stuff like aviation grade stuff or Pentosin CHF, or ATF or sometimes a unique partial synthetic mineral oil blend.
