The guy told me that they don’t sell these dampers separately. Instead, they buy old faulty steering columns, extract the dampers, and install them in other faulty columns that car owners leave behind at throwaway prices after getting a new steering column. They then repair those faulty columns with the extracted dampers and sell them for 14,000 to 18,000 Rs.
But I managed to get the damper from him for just 2,000 Rs. I installed it in my car, and now my car is running perfectly fine.
