This car has touch type door handles probably.
Connect a honda scan tool and get into the bcm by functions and see if the door handles respond when touched. If they dont then they are probably dead and disconnected.
The way the car locks and unlocks with these handles is that you energize the handle which sends a signal to the security unit which sends a request signal to the key/card
The key then sends the unlock command to unlock or lock when asked to lock, the ignition does the same thing but with the spinner, in this case it needs the sequence of the doors to be completed first or it wont work.
Its the same design as the mazda and mitsubishi cars had of this same era. Toyota are slightly simpler.
Tldr
Get someone who understands how to use a scan tool to find out if the security functions are all working and intact and proceed/layer your repairs from there.
