I was going to buy new speakers for my room, so i went to the computer market, more famously known as Rex City.

I always wear scruffy shalwar kameez(security reasons, being a foreigner in Pakistan:)) occasionally i would wear something nice.
I went to different shops, and most of them ignored me, thinking this guy is here just for looking and admiring them :S
After searching through 6-7 shops, a nice shop owner gave me some hope to have a look at last!
He showed me the Audionic speakers, cost roughly 5,500RS-/

As soon as he was about to turn them on, bam electricity went, and he took me to another shop, since they had UPS.
The owner told me to finalize the deal, they cost over 5000, are you really gonna buy them and i was thinking wtf=?

As soon as he started playing a song, my mom phoned me, she was in the car a few shops ahead, and when i pulled out my iPhone 5, their jaws dropped "Bhai jaan, coke mang wae? aaj garmi kafi hay" i was annoyed, and i just paid the cash, got the documents and got the hell out of there.

Till today, i still get the same treatment lol. PTCL security guard wasn't letting my old rusty bike in through the gates, today i went on brand new Cg125, "Bhai jaan, aap andar kharri kar lein, chori na ho jae" I am disappointed in lack of mentality in Pakistan :S

Well, our family has been there for about 25 years or so, so it's me, my mom, 2 uncles&their family:)
Bought 2 plots in Sitara Valley, just waiting for Phase III to start developing, sell this plot(approx. 47 marlas, 120ft from GT road) and build a house there:)

Get ready for a auto-biography.

So, on 21/08/1995, i was born in a hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark.
After 1 year, we(mom,dad&i) moved to Oslo, Norway.
After i did finish 7th grade, i went to UK for secondary school+ college, did my O-levels, and took 1 year off to decide what to do-
either further education or business. I chose business. Last year in November, me and mom came to Pakistan, and have been living here since:)

We have bought a few plots, thinking to get a car, and i've been chilling for almost a full year:P

We export ready-made boutique style clothes to Norway, and my mom takes a trip every 2 months roughly just to make up for accounts.

I was in the shop near my house and In the shop I was hunting for Pepsi......I was not dressed properly(puranna chota shalwar kameez:P)...hair was like some one have thrown a bomb on it and there I found my friends who also lived near my house...and when I went little away from them to look for pepsi there a uncle came and said 'jumbo bottle kahan mili gi beta' I said 'mai b woi dhund rha hu' He said 'Oh! mai samjha aap yahan kaam krtay hai :$..........and then u know k friends ne kiya haal kiya hoga mera

My right side is weak which is why I get tired quickly. Hence when m out for shopping with family and friends, I find myself a stool or chair to sit on and am thus often confronted with such comments and commands!

well i really love my ride and i love doing work on it so while i am at a workshop i either help the mechanic out by telling him where the bolts or things are located like for interior etc or i take up tools and start doing some work which is not related to him or which is simple and i like to do it myself, so automatically i end with dirty clothes, messed up hair and dirty hands and when afterwards i go to spare parts shop and someone else comes looking for parts they think of me as the guy who works there and they end up saying "bhai jan yh part mil jay ga" and i end up saying " jee dukan-dar wahan hain :p"
same happens at the workshop where people end up saying "bhai jan yh gari ka kam karwana hai :p''
on the other hand my mom keeps telling me insano wala huliya rakh log kahain gy medical student nhe mechanic hai

What ever I do I can't bring it more less than 550 km per 50 liters. I m stuck.

In late 80's..... when we were living in Lahore and shifted to a new house, two of my uncles came to meet us from Peshawar. Both are educated and officers in Customs dept but were very inept at languages other then Pushto & English...

While searching our address and almost completely lost, they stopped by a passerby and asked for direction, the conversation went like this:

1st Uncle: Ye Gulbarug III kidher Ayy... (pushto style)
Passerby: Saab menu ki pata, may tha aapy pindo aya wa (Mujhe kya pata, may tho khud Pind/Gaon say aya hu)
1st to 2nd Uncle: Preda marra, ta kho pkhpala da Pindai na raghly day (Chorro Yaar, ye tho khud Rawal Pindi say aya hay)

^^ From Pind i am reminded of a lil funny incident back in my teenage days in my pind in KPK.
One day our door bell rang. I opened the gate and saw an old lady- who was asking for Zakat, khairaat, food etc. The old lady was very weak so much so that she was hardly balancing herself onto her stick, had a wrinkled face, and visibly poor eye-sight. In short she was the kind of person the mere sight of whom can melt one's heart out of compassion. I decided to take her inside and to give her something to eat. Now our gate was 3-4 feet higher than the street level. One had to climb a few stairs to enter the gate.
So I went down and wanted to hold her hand to help her climb up the 2, 3 stairs.
But the moment i touched her hand she pushed my hand away in anger, perhaps mis perceiving my action. She declared World War 3 against me... and yelled in her shrill voice in Pashto:

"tumhari maan behan nahi hay kia ??"
"main abhi Police ko bulaati hoon"
.....
O my God i was so taken aback... Two three men had already stopped by to see the tamasha.
I went inside quick... shutting the door behind me. Phewww.

i was working on a website with a girl (i wonder how that happened), anyhow when it was finished i was dead tired but very happy that the work is over, during chat with the girl i wrote "i guess i am free now :)", and she thought i wanted to ask her out. LOL , yar why am i so bhola
