When i heard lafafas system, it was very loud, but i missed the deep hitting of 3001.

Kevin pick any on the three. Ill get them straight away

2x cervin vega 15s
4x pioneer 308
4x jbl gt-5 12s

Target is loud a s s lows

44" cone area with 14mm excursion
FS is good , 27hz
can be tuned at 35hz for awesome lows

2 15" almost have 27.5~28" cone area

but yaar kevin type R 15" was hell louder then 308d2s ( may be 308d2s werent in tuned box , market beampass)

308s should beat type r at 40hz easily

If you may allow me, Alpine 15" Type R can eat 2 Pioneer 308, any day on launch, no matter how good you tune them.

you need a really good power handling Signature series SUB @1000W or more to go more louder then 15" Type R, like W7, MTX 9500, Kicker L7, Alpine Type X.

Even single 15" Type R will be much cleaner, having deep bass and loudness then 2 308 or GT5 12.

The scene can only change if you position 2 12" Type R.

Very few people with some deep pockets and extra understanding, knows the limits of 15" Type R

That's wat im talkin bout, ppl over ere only know that this is loud n this is low, blah blah system can be heard from a mile..in this they neglect all the sharpness,smoothness n quality of the sub..

cleanliness is depends upon subs quality

Good amp to give Clean Power ( un dampening and unclipped signals )

man , why type R is of 20K ??

and why 308 , x 2 for 9 K???

prices defines everything

i have seen an amplfieir rated 100Wrms @ 2 ohms , cost over 7lac why??

but even if you consider zero sql and pure SPL, even then 2 308 will have no standing.

I remember once a guy with rockford fosgate T212D2 and Alpine PDX 1.1000 was competing with a 15" Type R and Kenwood 9104D, with costing twice as much and yet Rockford won with a slim margin.

lolz bahaut parliya is liaya thak giya , all theories goes to helll

i tune my enclosure with out knowing tunning frequency

just port lenths helps me out , with SPL measurement by microphone

avoiding ( warming up , and smelling like lifeboy soap )

splfanatic we didn't compared the stuff by prices, you just wrote that 2 308 are better than type r 15...frankly speakin i myself dun have as much experience as some of our member fellows does, but wat i've learnt so far is that quality doesn't come cheap!
