oh my my .... i see my topic has taken another turn as usual.....
here is my input on this.
@splfanatic
but first answer this .
X company makes subs which are 400rms.... and cost $100. then there is a sub from the same company which are rated at 500rms but cost $300
can anyone answer y?
because its not just about the RMS. its about durability as well.
overpowering 2 308 might give u a close result as type R 15" , but the R would last double the time of 308's
i could easily give in 1400rms to 2 d4 and win by a single R , but they not going to last long.
all expensive subs are expensive not because they have dimonds or embralds on them. it because they have a very efficient cooling system.they use metal which can easily get rid of heat.
do u think pioneer 308 has any cooling system in them?
well u get the answer.
@smartboy
u cannot compare bass of a sedan with a hatchback. i can assure u , if i wall my car or do a 4th order so tht bass comes directly to me , i dont think ANY car will be able to catch me..... (baray bool say toba but as far as i have seen ppls setup , no one comes even close to mine even in a simple vented box in the trunk).
plus brother , u could thump those subs for a while , but its not going to last u long.
and as far as i remember , u have heard 2 d4 also in my car.... so u can be a better judge on which sub is louder 307 or type R 15"
