Engine and parts for morris Mini and Morris 1000

Dear PW members, I just got my hands on a mini morris and a morris minor 1000. I was wondering if you know of any kabari / store where I could get their spare parts. I am in Quetta these days and could travel to Karachi during the weekends for parts. I need an 850CC or 1000 CC engine for Mini (ideally with transmission) in good running condition, rear lights (complete) and rear boot handle.
I dont mind redoing the engine if I am able to get a set of rings / pistons, crank shaft and bigends. I also need clutch and brake cyliners and wheel brake set

For morris I would need an engine and transmission + brake parts
Could some one also pass me the mobile number of Ramzan Kabaria on Tipu Road in Pindi?

Ahmad Brothers were the authorized spare parts outlet for BMC cars. They were located on the then Victoria Road ( now Haroon Road) and some 10 years back decided to change business and get into Electronics.
They sold most of their stock to Perfect Motors which is in Tibet centre and some was passed on to Ghulam Sarwar and Sons who were the BMC service agents in Rawalpindi and loacated on bank Road. I have no idea if they are there now or not but it is a lead for you to follow.
Good luck they are both cars worth working on and worth keeping.

alvis is right, you will find parts for your car at Perfect Motors. The guy's name is Shafiq ph: no. 021 - 2733882

Shafiq is one time waister so you have to be prepared for his golis etc. Sometimes he 'll find you the part in a minute but most of the times you have to wait from 2 - 60 days depending on is mood and your luck. To make things easier for you....Perfect Motors is good for engine and brake parts. There's another shop opposite Tibet Centre which sells 'PBR' brake parts. You 'll find brake kits, pipes, wheel/clutch and m/cyllinders there. You will have to order cosmetic parts from abroad - online. Good luck with your projects.

.....well we estimated...at 80K for the complete setup....but the final cost i presume will come about to be higher...

I bought 4EFE from shershah Khi with a lot of references...
42K for engine block+ 5 speed manual+complete wiring/sensors/etc...i think around 6K for transportation and some misc costs...looking at ard 50K. But the engine I am assured...is going to be in immaculate condition.

Front suspension needs to be lowered and bigger brakes need to be installed.....which is not covered in the cost above.

If you're asking labour....ask in prvt. LOL
