never go for idsi rebuild. reason which engine we rebuild and which we swap?? answer is cost. idsi head assembly will cost you max 14 k.

i guess 10-15k kharcha. depends on parts and workmanship how long it lasts
but again i think whole assembly costs 20-25k

usually people go for assembly swap

Got the engine plus gear swapped frm bilal gunj. Engine was a bit loud unusually to took it back and engine assembly was replaced again as mechanic diagnosed it as connecting rod issue.
Now the second engine is L15. Compression is between 180 to 190 psi on all cylinders.
Only issue is the engine seems a bit loud when revved and also at idle a dug dug dug metallic sound can be heard which the mechanic ignored as not an issue
Also at idle the rpm is slightly varying
Dont know what to do about the sound
