I have D17 installed in my car the problem is that its locks at 4k rpm all gears do locking at 4k rpm what shoud i do.
Are you revving it in P or N. Any check light. There is a safety limiter if you are revving it at stand still. Once moving and under load it should go till 6.5 to 7k easily.

Did you buy the complete engine with wiring and ECU or just the assembly?
