My personal suggestion is also to do openly discuss all matters on forums instead of inboxing/dm/pm type.

Irshad and Iqbal Shahid both are capable and knows their work. Charges of course, are little higher than market but worth. I have started from both with chronic issues of my different cars and i found it solved.

At the same time, few years ago, Iqbal Sahid bhai recommended 1 Electrician but still i regret my visit there which became worst due to that Electrician and caused serious losses to me so i openly told Iqbal Shahid next day that i have blind trust but only in your capabilities and your workshop staff skills but kindly never send anyone to your recommendation one specially to that Electrician.

Yes, in case if anyone need to convince Iqbal Shahid, for this we can "try" only try...

Well...... I myself have full faith in Iqbal shahid bhai's technical expertise, however he has limited himself to engine tuneup only (which he handles like a pro though).

I wanted my car's engine to be rebuilt by him as he has been praising suzuki margalla as one of the best manufacturers by suzuki, however he has agreed to refer me to a mechanic of his choice. But i will have a discussion with him to supervise the overhaul at every step.

if iqbal or anyone is not a pro in that side of car ...how can he supervise it its that simple for me

This is an issue which is a double edged sword. If a plain mechanic quotes a repair including full overhaul by the book, installing all missing parts, removing all corrosion, replacing all weak hoses etc, media blasting castings and oven baking iron blocks to clean everything out.

rebundling/rebuilding wiring harness with new original equipment items like clips, fasteners and looming. Then doing a pressure and vacuum test on cooling system to ensure its airtight.

99.99% of customers in Pakistan would answer - NO! - itnay paisay nahi hain.

irshad farigh hai. mehran ki tuning toh karni aati nae hai, engine kahan se banaye ga.'

labour for engine overhaul is around 10 - 12k. this thief would charge 20+

btw irshad is not a carb specialist that was mehmood (jubille) and abdur reham(tariq road )

@uzeemujeeb how is your car performing now, after the engine overhaul? My xli engine is also not performing well it required an engine overhaul as per mechanics. After reading this thread, I decided to go to Jamil Autos for an engine overhaul.
