Engine Knock in Honda City 2005

Help needed from Car experts.

My car is in perfect condition and runs smoothly except for the pinging noise of Engine knock. Normally a mixture of Hi-octane with normal fuel or using 100% Hi-octane would rid you of this noise. But this does not seem to work on my car. The engine continues to knock at higher RPMs irrespective of the fuel. I have tried 100% hi-octane for a month but to no avail. Please advise.

This could be down to a few things,but first make sure the heat range on your spark plugs is correct or try one heat range higher.The heat range number is writen on the sparkplug .

Can you recommend a heat range? Will iridium tip work? Also, should i get my ignition timing checked?

heat range 6, ngk G power, reduce gap till .8 mm , iridium doesn't work in Idsi, and change your knock sensor immediately

Will definitely get the knock sensor replaced. What if i go for heat range 7 and above? Colder spark plugs tend to reduce knocking, right?

Have you gotten the knock sensor replaced? If yes how much did it cost?
