Engine Light Turns On!

Hi Pakwheelers, Hope everyone is doing okay in this Corona Situation.

2 months ago I bought a Corolla 2012 Gli which is driven around 15000 km or i assume more. I changed the clutch Plates, because it needed one.

Once the Clutch plates were changed after some weeks the Engine lights appears, But there is no change in the car drive or anything it works perfectly fine. Engine lights does not remain for long, it goes away for some time and then reappears. Yesterday night while driving the car on the first gear it gave me jerks like it was missing this bothered me alot. Is there anyone who can guide me what would be the reason behind this?

There was a issue i was facing before clutch plates where changed was even if the car was on idle when i turn on/off the lights or roll up the windows the car kind a give vibration and the RPM goes up a bit, this also happens when i stop at the signal even though i had pushed the clutch hard, this issue was not resolved when the clutch was changed!!
Please Help me if anyone knows the reason of both the issue,

Seems like this is an electrical issues. Get your car scanned on an obd scanner and check error codes if any.

Normally engine light turns on when there are issues relatated to your ecu.

Let me know your location so that i may further guide you properly.

Bro ur meter is reversed probably.For check light get it scanned with obd scanner amd share with us.

Yes I am pretty sure about the meter being reversed. Can't do anything in that case

I have used Havoline 10W-30, this was my first oil change and this was advised by the Oil guy.

take your car to caregar restomods in johar town. just google or search on Facebook about it you will find the exact address and location. his name is surkhail a quite renowned regarding modification and restorations. a complete reliable source. pay him a visit and your car will be trouble free

brother, firstly, i think your car is driven more than 150,000 km, not 15000 km. khair no problem...
the jerking in first gear might be due to disturbance in current supply.. i.e. coils wiring, or plugs issue ..
secondly, get it properly tuned and throttle body serviced for RPM stabilization..

don't worry, take it to a reputable one stop shop type garage ...
like a brother mentioned, take it to Carigar Restomods in Johar Town or Autospot.pk ...
they will fix all the issues inshaALLAH and tell you what else needs to be replaced in your car.

Time to time there is need. I have faced it. Just clean throttle and MAF Sensor by Crab cleaner Spray. Issue will resolve. InshaAllah.

My Bad, yes i meant 150,000 km.
I did the tuning and plugs was checked throttle body was also cleaned, there was a difference for about half and hour and then back to normal, same vibration.

Did a system check on the car and the Error appeared was "Camshaft Position Actuator " Error code P0010.
Have anyone encountered with this error? Is this is an expensive fix ? what should be done to remove this error.?

Get camshafts position sensor wiring checked first. And if needed replace the sensor.
