Engine noise in new Ivtec

AoA guys! I recently bought new honda city Ivtec manual. Till now i must say its an amazing to drive however recently I began to notice the engine produces some minor whistling type noise. This is really frustrating... any help would be appreciated p.s. its only been driven 4000kms yet. And from day one I have been using fuel from PSO (not hi octane)

try to get high octane mixed in half quantity when you get a refill, this may end the issue.

and do get petrol from some other pump! in my other car, vitz, the same issue was there and i was constantly going to the same pump. the mechanic asked me to get high octane and to change the pump. the issue ended.

What type of whistle? can you differentiate b/w whistle and knock?

As if its gasping for air? i.e on reving the car?

could be a bad bearing or loose belt....has the car taken a dip in rainwater?

if it has, then the timing belt tensioner aka timing bearing might be kaput
