Engine number mentioned on old registration book not matched with tikli

Hello senious pakwheelers, i recently bought toyota corolla ee90 and everything looks perfect even chasis patti is original but the issue is car is converted from 2e to 5afe. The thing which worries me is on tikli the engine number is mentioned is 5A just. But on old book of car the numbers is 2e. Can anyone tell me what could be the issue

Is the new engine number updated on book or not?
If updated then what is the chassis number starting from if it is EE-- then it was 2e if it starts from AE-- then it has 4-5 a engine

corolla ee-90 has several engine variants between Sept 1988 to Nov 1990

in your case it seems engine is swapped but number is not endorsed over registration book, and thats not a big deal, It can be done by the owner whose name appear over the papers an application needs to be submitted with requisite receipt of engine.,

My question is still there, i said the engine number on tikli is written 5A. But the old registration books show 2e engine. As far as i knw engine number can be change on card or book but not kn tikli am i right?

Some one has made it.
It's not a bid issue if the chassis number is mentions EE90
Local automotive shops back in 2008-9 when these engines were swapped in large quantities tend to do this.
Another scenario is the title must have misplaced and the owner has made a new one. It's not an big issue of the vehicle is 15 clear and chassis is not tempered or something has done with it.

the engine number on tikli is written 5A. But the old registration books show 2e

sir @pw156027211633 if by tikli you mean the plate riveted to engine bay firewall, then the vehicle was originally equipped with 5A engine and the engine swap endorsement on regn paper is 2E.

would you please also verify if the regn book engine no does not correspond to the ID /VIN plate riveted to vehicle, or it is otherway around.

A picture of engine bay only can help identify which engine is bolted at present in the car.

Mera sub sai pehla sawal ye hai k kya esa hota h k sirf engine number mai sirf 5A likha hoo, jhn tak meri knowledge hai poora 6-7 numbers ka code nh hota. if the cplc has given clearance and car is clean transferable, you are safe. you may hold agreed amount subject to transfer of vehicle and receipts are issued under your name & cnic.
make sure of cnic number & name spelling correctness.
