Even in 5w30 grade Valvoline and Liqui Moly both have two three different products. Chrisfix uses valvoline because he lives in US and Valvoline is a local US product available at dirt cheap rates. You can get a gallon pack of this 5w30 synpower at 18 bucks tops easily at any local shop. You will never see him use imported Liquid Molvi Motul, Total, totachi, etc. In Pakistan this oil is imported and marketed as a premium oil and gullible people fall for it. However, your money and your choice, if the price is easily manageable then no issues.
It is always recommended to use what is locally available by the official company at the best prices. If you drive a Japanese vehicle such as corolla civic etc then a cheapo 5w30 is more than adequate. Boutique oils like Amsoil and Liqui Moly molygen etc are a waste of money.
