Engine Oil Consumption issue in New Engine Mira ES

Hi everyone,

A month ago I purchased Mira ES 2011 reg 2014, the seller claimed to have replaced the engine with a new one a month ago and he used Castrol magnetic 5W-20 as its first oil in engine. The car was only driven around 300 KM after engine replacement, after a week and a half I had to change the oil because it was consumed by engine so fast. I used Zic 10W-40 and within 5-6 days after this I had to change oil again, it seemed being consumed around a quarter within 5-6 days, Although it was driven less than 1000 KM in this period.

What should I do? The seller again is claiming that he replaced the best engine he and and an expert with him found. I don't know where the problem is this time I had to change like 20W-50 which I know is not compatible for 660cc engines.

I could really use some help here please.

The engine he replaced with is most likely already worn out . Open the engine oil cap and share the pic of internal area, would give rough idea of engine health

by new the previous owner was referring to Engine Change from junk yard.
660 JDM vehicles have zero new parts support for engine & suspension items from market. Junk yards are only source.
goto a workshop and get compression test done. wet & dry readings shall be higher then 150 psi. anything below that thats an ' Alfateha '

go to car graveyard and look for another engine to swap,

Have you seen any kind of smoke from exhaust?? During Start up or when accelerating on high rpms.. what is condition of exhaust tip?? This may be due to clogged up oil control rings which don't let oil to drain back to oil sump during normal operation but oil skipped into combustion chamber through small gaps of pistons compression Rings.. get Liqui Moly or STP engine flush..pore 300ml in old engine oil.. idle it for 20minutes and drain complete oil.. it,ll unclogged oil control rings and oil shall not be skipping through Compression Rings.. perform this 2,3 time .. and shar results
