Today is 7th May 2025. Synthetic oil is usually changed at 10000km. But u could change it after 8000 or 9000km if it's easy on ur pocket. Today kixx G1 5w30 sn 4liter price is 8900. But if u visite gawalmandi rawalpindi whole sale shop it's price is 8200. Local oil filter like Honda and guard is 600 or 700 and almost same price for air filter. Oil shop and Honda authorized dealers would say change it after 5000 cuz the early u change the oil the more bussiness they will gain from u. And they also sell burned oil after draining from your car which is 400/liter so it's never a free oil change service. They are earning thousands of cash just from your used oil. If u really love ur car u can change it after 5000 but engine is not really expensive. If u loose ur engine after 200000km u can swap it with japanese engine for 100k to 200k but don't stress over quick oil changing it's useless. But if u are using a local oil filter I would recommend to change oil filter after 3000km and keep doing that after every 3000 km untill it's almost 10k mileage. Clean air filter with air blower after every 1000km and replace after 4000 to 5000km and clean spark plugs every 3000 to 5000km for best fuel economy. If ur car burns oil after 1000km there might be a problem to ur engine. But loosing 250ml to 500ml after 5k than that's normal u can always top up time to time. My Honda city 2011 genion od reading 231000 and it consumes 300ml after 4000km and when I change oil filter around 4000km I top up some oil cuz few 100ml also leaks while u change ur oil filter in between oil change. And don't reuse leaked oil for topup. Just let it drain somewhere and add some fresh oil. I buy kixx G1 SN 5w30 4 liters. And keep 300ml for top up. U can always buy another spare 1 liter bottle or just 5liter instead of 4 liters to topup if ur can consumes more oil. Switching to thicker oil will not stop burning and consumption issue. It will just slowed down the process but this will cause damage to ur engine earlier than before one the burning process starts it never heals on its own or by using a thicker oil but it's time to swap engine or just misuse that scrap for not changing oil and keep it running like a donkey cuz let the end of the day ur engine needs to go. If it consumes oil let it drink some juice. And just too it up. Never drive with low level of oils. Another advice for self maintenance guys. Keep spart plug gap at .043in or 1.1mm. always use genion spark plugs which comes in ur Honda city. It's life is 100k btw.

In Uae, common practice is to change oil filter at every oil change. The interval can vary depending on what grade oil you used. A general rule is:

20w50 - 3k to 5k km
10w40 - 5k to 7k km
5w40,5w30,0w20 - 7k to 10k km

Best oils are the genuine company make..like Lexus or Nissan or Toyota and the big oil companies like Mobil 1, Castrol, Shell, Total, Liquimoly.
