Petromin ultra 7 best oil for old engine
where i can get petromin ultra in islamabad?
brother there are several variants of Caltex Havoline such as havoline Fully Synthetic, Havoline Synthetic blend (mixture of mineral and synthetic oil) and Havoline Formula.....no idea which one is u using...but i suggest u keep the info classified.anyways in my humble opinion use any oil with no more than 10W-40 viscosity. ...for an old car DONT waste money on fully synthetic oil (like zic XQ) because chances are you might encounter problems.....and mind you ZIC is a popular oil hence faked the most. beware..!!!but if you are a die-hard ZIC lover....thenuse ZIC A (mixture of synthetic and mineral) its 10w-40Zic Hiflo - 20w-50in my opinion stick to:caltex havoline-synthetic blend....(its a mixed mineral and synthetic with 10w-40 viscosity grade)or Shell Helix HX5 (same as above)

Zic MAY be better but m more familiar with Caltex. Besides, for my nine year old Corolla which would drink up oil, i never believed in spending extra.

look up the owners manual - follow that recommendation as a minimum set point, modern blends are good and backwards compatible, but as its a daily car - keep the budget simple, choose wisely and choose good.
