I was completely convinced that whatever is the mileage of car a person should always stick to manufacturer's recommended oil grade but then I saw some high mileage oils (sold in USA) which again confused me . If theses oils actually exists than it means that some thing different is needed for a high mileage car which can protect it from further wear and tear. So our desi mechanics are correct to some extend as these high mileage oils are not available in Pakistan so instead they uses Thicker oil. Any suggestions/feedbacks ??? @Xulfiqar
