Being a newbie and having a little knowledge about the subject matter, so would appreciate recommendations / suggestions of fellows.
Just purchased Honda City, MT, 2012, 76000 KM driven. The previous owner does not know which engine oil he was using. He was getting the oil change done at Honda 3S dealership. Could anyone of you suggest me oil recommended for this vehicle? The Honda website suggests following oil
5W30 SM (2399 Rs)
5W30 SN (2999 Rs)
10W30 SM (1919 Rs)
- Which oil should I select?
- What is difference between SM and SN?
- What should be oil change interval?
- Can I use oil other than recommended by Honda website? Like that of Shell, Zic and Havoline etc etc.
anyone who could guide me about these questions.
