Engine oil for Mehran

My Mehran (model 2016) is driven 37,000km. I have always used Suzuki's engine oil but now I want to try some other brand.
Please tell me which brand do you recommend and what viscosity? (please tell the price too if possible)

If Yes, then kindly share the picture from that manual, where oil grades / viscosities have been mentioned (to get the most suitable recommendation).

There might be a chart there too, showing oil grades w.r.t. air temperature.

Why do u want to try another brand?...are u having issues with the current SGO....if no, then pls stick with...i hv 2008 cultus drvien 120k and only used SGO

Ok. I get it. And which SGO are you currently using? It's Grade / Viscosity? API rating? (like SM, SN, etc.) Quantity? Is it fully Synthetic? Semi Synthetic? Mineral? etc.

I don't know these details. My fault I never tried to investigate about it. Whenever I go to Suzuki 3S dealers the employer brings a pack of oil and changes the oil. Once I tried to ask the mechanic about the details he could only tell "suzuki ka genuine oil hai"

Few reasons to try other brand are:

1. Sometimes the quality of oil is very poor, it burns out very soon

2. Comparison. I want to compare different oils for performance. Most of the people never use SGO, let me test why they do that

Well... If this has to be the case, I fear I may not be able to help precisely. Still, as per http://cararac.com/engine_oil/suzuki/alto.html , the recommended oil grades for F8B engine are 10w40 and 15w40, with 2.7L quantity.

I would suggest to go for 10w40 from any reputed brand, but ensure that oil is % genuine and original. You may check Caltex, ZIC, Shell and Total, but ensure compatible API rating and Semi Synthetic, Fully Synthetic, Mineral, etc. Thing.

I tried shell 10w40 mineral oill once. Engine vibrations increased, noise increased, and it wasn't very smooth to drive. Switched to Total quartz 5000 10w 40 SN mineral oil. It's way better than shell, and i change every 5000 km. I'veben usig it since early 2017, and i'm completely satisfied.
