Engine oil for swapped 1 Nz

Dear members, I recently swapped my xli 2nz with 1 Nz and the mechanic poured 20/50 zic at that time. The engine was probably imported /scrap yard one. Now if i want to change the oil, which grade would you people suggest. Its hard to know about the mileage of the engine and I havent done any compression test yet (which I am planning to do)

Use 5w30 and do get compression tested.

Using 5w30 in swapped 1zzfe 45000 km driven without any engine issue.. .. No problem so far.. However it depends upon the condition of your engine.. Do compression testing

I have also have a swapped 1nz in my se saloon 2003. I am using Mobil Super 5W30 fully synthetic without any issue. No oil consumption or smoke.
