The car manufacturer recommends several oil grades BASED on temperature. The higher viscosity is an option but for a new car, lower voscosities should be used.
If you understand how wear and tear works and why different voscosities exist then you will not put such a high viscosity oil in a brand new car engine.
Read the owners manual and understand what oil grade is recommended for which weather. Then use that oil grade for that weather, blindly recommending people one oil grade is stupid.
If the car comes with a certain oil in it that doesn't mean you have to absolutely use it. The owners manual wouldn't mention anything else then.
