Engine oil for toyota gli 10w-40 or 10w-30

i have toyota gli 2010 driven 85K kms.
i am using kixx 10w40 engine oil, just go through toyota standard that recommended oil garde is 10w-30 not 10w40. should i change to 10w-30 or stick with 10w40.?

10-30 is better.. You can switch to 10-30 easily not much difference between 10-30 and 10-40.

you will just have to monitor if the car is not reducing oil if downgrading..otherwise no issue....but sooner you will have to shift again to 40....

Liqui moly is good but it's expensive after that zic,havoline and kixx..if 10-30 is available in total use that.

Keep using the same if you’re not facing any issues.
Factory filled oil from imc is 5w50, and that’s what indus motor company recommends.

10w30 is also available at imc i.e toyota petron plus. is it good to use? as compare to other available brands

10w40 is available in Liqui moly but 10w30 is not available.

If you want amazing performance than put Kixx Pao 5W40. Dont put 30 for 8 years old car.

If liqui moly, than use these only
5w30 specialtec
10w40 super leichtlauf
5w40 synthoil hightech
But same thing, if there isn’t any issue. Why you want to change oil at the first place?

but off topic , i have changed gear oil . i poured 2L of toyota genuine gear oil 75w 90.
i have query that 2L is enough oil for transmission?

Bro, If you have been using 10w-40 instead of Toyota standard that recommended oil grade is 10w-30, it is even better, however, if you wanna switch to 10w-30 as per Toyota Standard, still no problem.

I think. you can use any of these oil grades; and in my opinion, you will not face any problem, even if you continue using 10w-40.

I would recommend following oils:

10w-30:
