Aoa. Please recommend me engine oil for vitz 2007 model driven 145,000 kilometres. The previous owner have been using Zic 20w50. Thanks.

I would advise 5W40. 20W50 is too thick for your car.

You’ll chock your catcon very soon and engine is also wasting its energy by using too thick oil. 5W30 is recommended oil for your car, as we have bit hot season here also so 5W40 is all season for your car.

W.S. Based on my personal experience with 1KR-FE, I would recommend 5w-30, API SN, Fully Synthetic Engine Oil. You can go for Total Quartz 9000 5w-30.

Get rid of 20w-50 ASAP and Avoid xw-40 or xw-50 oil grades. They are too thick for 1KR-FE (unless / until your car engine is consuming / burning oil).
