Engine oil getting dark very quickly

Hi folks. My car's engine makes the engine oil very dark if driven only 1000kms or more than that. The oil gets dark brown or blackish and sticky. Also the oil gets reduced a little bit but there is no blow-by appearing through the silencer. Experts guidance will be appreciated. Thanks!

First check the blow With mobiloil gage .If that,s not the problem then go to a good Machanic ! He will help you out !

maybe too many short trips the engine doesnt reach its optimum temp n neither does the oil hence oil jaldi ganda ho jata hai

check your oil pump pressure , may be its working on very less pressure and thus resulting a very low circulation of oil , which interns produces more carbon in engine becuase it also reduces the circulation of oil through the oil filter ,
oil become thick and black because of carbon built up ,

rightly said OIL Pump malfunction is likely culprit.

• Rings done - smell the oil brown must be containing the furl smell, black with smoke means soot.

Rings passed the life and need change.

oil getting dark early is usually a badly sludged engine, this can be caused by using very cheap or bad oil filters, Rings going bad would usually show up as high rpm oil consumption or blowby that increases with rpm,

Bad or blocked breathers can also cause this along with a few leaking oil seals, Check them, also pour diesel rated oil for the next oil change along with a very good oil filter (try to find an industrial equivalent for your car). It would self clean itself out.

For starts - please post the oil you are using in what car? and what is the operating temperature of the engine.

using shell helix, semisynthetic oil,engine temp is normal and the engine in account is nissan GA15de

Xulfiqar bhai u mean i should flush the engine prior to next oil change with the help of some ratio of engine oil+deisel and keeping it idling for 5mins and then flushing out that mix and pouring clean engine oil after that???

He meant use Diesel engine oil for your next oil and use good quality oil filter.

If you wanna flush your engine than use Liqui Moly engine flush only no other method.
