Engine oil mileage and expiry date

I have corolla gli 1.6 and using liqui moly 5w40 fully synthetic oil.
what is the maximum mileage to use? one dealer said 10k and the the filter house people are saying 8k.

what is the expiry date inside the engine if I do not run that mileage. the dealer said expiry is 2 years and the filter House said 6 months.

Now I have used this oil for 17 months and mileage is 6k. I am confused that I should change gree the oil or not? please guide that to whom I should believe

Yes change it now,when opened the oil should be changed after 6 months when poured in the engine. The given oil can go till 8 k or 9 k max given u use the imported Japanese or thai oil filter and air filter. If ur using local Toyota filters or guards u have to change them max after 5k and then pour some oil to eliminate the difference in oil loss due to oil filter change

Apne engine pe itna zulm na karo bhai. Oil filters ki itni mileage nahi hoti local. Maximum 5-6k kms. Oil ki 10k mileage us scenario me hoti he agar itni mileage ap 5-6 months me karlo.
There is an oil Amsoil fully synthetic, it has an expiry moleage of 15-20k. But the oil experts still not recommend it for more than 8-9k due to conditions/weather/dust in Pakistan. Liqui moly ya amsoil ya mobil bohat bhi chalana he to 1 saal chalao then chhange it

what about the gear oil mileage.. I use liqui moly ATF 1200..dealer told me 60k but company told me 40k

I use Mobil1 0-w40 and change at 9000kms with original oil filter bought from 3s dealer. Mostly if you use oil for extended period no matter which car the oil level drops a little but in my case it does not happen and when changed the old was in ok condition.
This is just old thinking and outdated now, if you go and search topics few years back people used to change their synthetic oils and proudly tell "ma to 2500 par change karta hoe" and actually mocked those who changed it around 5k kms.

I have used 20-w40 Mineral oil in my xli from day one and changed it at 5000kms and still do the same.. now car is Driven 210,000.

Since it has been 17 months and 6ooo kms you should change oil.

Bro us genius dealer ko bolte I will run it 60k but do give me written proof on stamp paper that if car created any issues after 40k interval. U will be responsible for all the expenses.

I can say easily that after this dealer will be mute.
