my god man,
you are so full of yourself that you dont read what the point was.
The point was that no two cars are the same hence your stupid test wont work. The reason I mentioned the benz was that it has a 1.5 inch thick insulation layer on the bonnet - the engine can overheat to the point of siezure but the bonnet will be "cold" to touch - you can literally lie on it and wont know the engine is blazing hot.
The toyota corolla 2.0D also has that insulation but not that thick. Its bonnet also remains cool - then comes the radiation, ambient temperature, person health factor.
If I get you a twin turbo mazda RX7 and ask you to check the bonnet temperature you might say that the oil is literally crap because a mazda RX7 generates heat that makes a house oven look like a fridge. You can pour all the LM in it you want, it will still generate insane heat. Because thats how its built.
Lets take this guy - he's doing a proper test on his motorcycle (post #92) - he's a Pakistani person too.

Im sure he could have used his hand to touch it.. why did he not?
Notice the high temperatures, now explain to me how can you test those temperatures with your hands?
