i am currently using 1nzfe and 20w-50 shell helix.i want to go for 10-40.or 10-30 is it ok to go for that? need guidance
Mileage and engine condition?
engine is in perfect condition.mileage is around 100k+
Then use 5w30. If engine reduces oil, then use 10w40 at max. Dont use 20w50, you'll eventually kill ur engine.
i am trying to go down gradually first 10-40 and if it stays ok then next oil change 10-30..recommended oil grades for this engine are 5-30 and 10-30.but i am not sure that on what mileage they recommend
If engine doesn't reduce 5w30, then mileage doesnt matter. I have seen many cars with over 200k still running on 5w30.
will try 10 40 on this oil change and then on next change will go for 10 30..still waiting for other members suggestions

most probably shell or total.quartz.and may go for liquimoly if i can adjust budget

My mechanic had it. You can check daraz. Total, Shell, Zic, Caltex has official store on Daraz. Buy from them as they are 100% genuine. 10W-30 is also ok

You can buy from Daraz. I am from Karachi and still don't know any good place. The companies have official accounts on daraz

Didn't feel anything odd as it's was my 1st oil change after swap. So I don't have anything to compare with.
