Engine oil recommendation for gli 2013

Aos. I have just purchased gli 2013 , 88000 km driven. I want to know about best suitable engine oil for my car. Thanks

Use any good 5w-30 or 5w-40 if the car is not reducing oil.
1. Zic xq 5w-40
2. Shell ultra 5w-40
3. Shell 5w-30
4. Total 5w-30
5. Kixx 5-40
6. Havoline 5w-40
7. Toyota tin 5w-30
Above all are easily available everywhere.

Rest liqui moly, mobi 1 & volvaline are excellent oils but not available everywhere.

This 5w-40 is the grade/viscosity of oil.

Engine oil viscosity or grades are represented buy these numbers like 0w-20,5w-30,10w-40,20w-50 etc.
The number before 'w' represent the viscosity of oil at cold temperatures & the second number after the 'w' represent viscosity of oil at 100degree C.

0w-20 is the most thinnest oil mostly for new cars or hybrids vehicles.
20w-50 is the most thickest for old engines.

So 0w-20 is thinner than 5w-30.
5w-30 is thinner than 10w-40.
10w-40 is thinner than 20w-50.

Recommended oil for your car is 5w-30 or 5w-40.

As salam o alikum.

Guys old thread but need senior's suggestion. I bought a gli 2014 LE manual old shape. Its 73000km done.

Can any senior member confirm which engine oil to use. For the first time i used kixx 10w 40. Now I want to switch to liqui moly 5w 30 after engine flush.

Also let me know which gear oil for this manual car 2NZfe.
