Engine oil is full and it is 4947 KMs on the dial

What should I pour in now?I am thinking about 10W30

May be original Honda or Total , Zic, Kixxor maybe 5W30

that's a good news, everything's working fine now.. go for the company recommended oil grade for this engine model.

Without a doubt, go for Honda 5w-30 and buy from a 3S or 2S dealer. Get original oil and air filter as well. All items should cost you ~12,000 PKR or so.

Air filters don't need to be changed at every oil change, they can last quite a bit... however, do inspect it if it is in bad condition even after cleaning it with air, then change... otherwise it can work just fine after cleaning..

OEM filters can, most filters sold at shops here are shit and don't filter anything.

Total and Shell does not have a 10w30 grade oil

Honda does have it other that Honda Havoline also have it

Why aren't you going for 5W30? Total, Havoline, Shell is all good stuff. Personally I'll prefer havoline and total as they are fully synthetic. But you can't go wrong with any of these brands. IMO if you're going for 10W30 you can go for both caltex or honda it's totally upto you.

Karachi has a problem of fake engine oils being sold, this is my main reason to choose Honda oil, straight from a 2S store, and also because it is recommended by the manufacturer so you can't go wrong with it. Other than that I use Magnatec 10w40 bought from a reliable source which I know is authentic. You can go for any reputable oil (Havoline, Total, etc.) as long as you're sure of it's authenticity.

Actually I am thinking to go down slowly
in case of 5w30 both viscosities will be changed

Hence I am planning to go for 10W30, it at least matches the 10W

but with that being said 10W40 is what matches my temperature

some also suggests that as car is driven 100,000 so stick to 10W40
