HI All, I would like to replace my khyber engine with Cultus or Margala, please suggest, if any one who experiaced this

Cultus engine is noisy
Margala engine is old

Replace it with Cultus engine,it fits well with very little modification. I have already done it. Forget noisy things. no other option. you can also find khybers own engine as well. but its better to change it with updated version.

btw cultus is 1000cc 3 cyl and margalla is 1300cc 4 cyl but if u want power margalla is better option coz power to weight ratio is gud with margalla u can find margalla plus engine in gud condition

one thing more
u have to change ur shocks and brake system if u install margalla engine

Try to find khyber's own engine and put it in your car...

yaar suspension should be changed but the brakes of khyber are enough ..i think...

gop for margalla...i should got you change some foundation or maybe not..axles are changed i think so..radiator and shocks along with coil springs are on chance...i am 90% sure about radiator works fine with that margalla engine and 70% about coil and shocks...its better to put margalla one than of cultus.....4cyl 1.3L balanced engine...what you need....just ask all things before slaming the engine inn..

ser is right..
i also think that margallas engine should do the job...
i am 100% sure that the radiator's size is the same but u can be needing a new radiator caz yr one must be quiet old and wont do the job properly...
basically cultus has the same engine as khyber's with very mior changes ....g10...and a the sound...urghhhhhhhhhhh.. is a bonus with a cultus engine...

cultus and margalla engine..similarities...Air cleaner Box :P..both cost 90rs :D.....margalla one is stronger.......if your radiator is in fine condition and fins are not chokked nor the inside lines are chokked.so it definately works.....

yaar mere ek dost ne kiya tha uski car high speeds per brakes sahi nahin leti thi engine replace ke baad

yeah y are right.. but the problem is that ke khyber ki brakes waise hi kharaab hain... bara engine ka masla nahi hai..
u ccan put ventilated diskc in the front and if possible convert the rear drums with disks too.
if possible search for swift gti's brakes...
difficult to findbut if you find one then yr problems will be over..
ther will be no problem fitting them and u will get 4 sik brakes....
and if possible also look for gti's suspension...
