Engine Swap in Datsun 120y Model 1974

nope no idea about the price.. its not only engine, its electric wiring, plus fitting plus labour charges plus gearbox and diff and driveshaft. many things that u will have to consider if u want to go for this swap and car.

i am asking Rs80000 for the engine and gearbox....with complete uncut wiring,ecu ,igniter,coil and map sensor of 20valve blacktop..and bro its 7A 20 valve means its 1764cc..not 1600cc..perfectly tuned kan easily smoke B16's and b18's...its in running in perfect condition in my car..you kan check it if u want 2.

and for the price of 7afe, you will get it for 45000rs..and yeah you hav to buy rwd gearbox like T50 which alone costs 12000..and for the power 7afe produces around 120bhp..

bro!! what abt the parts availability of 7A 20 valve, as u r in pwsh where most of the parts are easily available. So please suggest me accordingly. T50 in which car it came orginally?

yes,,7A parts are easily available,,as well as that of 20v..its easy to maintain and the parts costs same as that of 4Afe..T50 came in carina..and yeah its a very strong gearbox...and i bet that u wdnt ned any parts until you run the engine on octane fuel..and the engine kan easily rev to 8500rpm..

arnd 200K, but the main thing is, it always easy to get the thing but difficutl to maintain...running car on octane...Man i have to drive my bike too...so i was thinking wat if i will go for 4afe or 7afe if good engines are available in lhr.

power from 4afe and 7afe are not enough as u hav a rwd car., go for 7A block and 4A head..that's the easy way n u will get enough power and torque..or go for 16v 4age non tvis engine if u kan find one in good condition...makin a drift car is not easy...u hav 2 spend cash for good results..gud luck wit ur project

well bro a good 7A block will cost around 20-22k...for 4A head it will be around 8-10k,while complete uncut wiring of 4A will cost 6k and the ecu sensors and igniter will cost u 10k...its wld be able 2 produce upto 135bhp....

a good 4Afe produces 120bhp...by swaping the block with 7A you cc increases from 1600 to 1764cc increasing your displacement...which results in more power produced..and one thing more the bore of 4afe and 7afe are the same but the stroke of 7A is greater than 4A.if u use 4A piston in 7A block it will increase your compression by .6 which will result in enormous amount of torque and you will enjoy it..

the complete setup with installation with T50 rwd gearbox will cost you aaround 80-85k..

One more thing in which car 7afe 20v and 16v came orginally.

No problem bro.well 7afe came in usdm corollas,20v(silvertop)came in 1992 models toyota levin and Gt (Ae101),20v (blacktop) came in 1995-1998 toyota levin and Gt (Ae111),while 4afe came in 1988-1998 corollas.

get a nissan engine for a nissan chassis.
find a SR20 motor and rock it.

bro i never ever drove my car on normal petrol..well as long as u dont go above 3rpm you kan drive it on normal petrol but when you are in a mood of driving all the way to 8500rpm better use octane...your engine life will be longer..well i live in peshawar and you kan check it ny time..and well for the setup price i bet that it will cost you 80-85k because i know thr are many hidden costs you may dont know like the electrician will demand 5k for the wiring...changing pistons,conrods with gasket will cost you another 5k...while rwd gear box will cost 12-14k..
