Engine swap in my CJ7

Greetings
I recently bought a CJ7 !
But it has a chinese fuelthirsty engine of a tractor I believe!
Now as I have planned to swap the engine there are several options available considering my range 1.5-2 lac
Following are the engines suggested by some mechanics:

3rz
1G-fe

I've always had diesel cars but wanna try petrol this time.
I have a 100 series and have driven 1kz
Looking for similar power for my CJ
Which can bare AC with speed ,offloading and keeping in mind fuel economy
I know its too much to ask but I need help!

That's quite difficult to achieve, you probably have to spend close to 0.8 mil to achieve that

Already considering it but just one query in mind, are the parts easily available in the market?

@dayrider Even thought of 1G-FE to cover the mileage issue but I've been told that its not a good decision.

According to mechanics, a swapped engine does not give you good mileage for some reason even if it is popular because of it..

No 5vz is swapped by many of my friends and some clients. And everyone was happy with economy.
Its a good swap for a cj7.

That's because inorder for a swap to work, you have to go the extra mile to complete circuits, no jugars, you need to start from the fuel lines and go all the way till the exhaust. If you want it to return good mileage it has to be done right, and the cost of that is so high that most people just sell midway through as they lack the knowledge

How much is the budget for the mod

I wanted the engine to be within the range of 1.5 lac
But started searching the market and got to know that 5vz is available at 2.5 currently..
So I guess I'll have to raise the budget for that.

I wanted to sum the whole modification in max 3 but now my choice seems to exceed this limit

I was suggested 3rz for 1.3
But somehow I don't want to go for it..
The difference in hp attracts me more to 5vz

I do have the option of 2TR as well but not sure about the reviews of the engine, neither know its price ...
I'm afraid that 2.7 might make my ride underpowered

Like I said, what you want to achieve will require 8 ish lacs. Unless you can afford that, leave it as it is
