About the RPM meter issue, the easiest solution is to get the mechanism out of a N16 meter and replace it in a B13 / B14 one. Yousaf have attempted it on one B14 which underwent a QG15 swap and it was a success, I'll also get it done some day when I have the more imp things done

That B13 which you are building has already eaten a lot of money. Why not spend it wisely for a change?

actually I did some, because had to part with it for 6-8 months due to financials to make up for a "good" swap. That thing is reliable nonetheless, but the fuel consumption issue is there. It is doing 8-9 in city without AC, so yeah, a swap is evident.

By the way, I see your fuel pipes attached to the fuel guage tikki are gone badly. Change them ASAP man. Yes, those small pipes going to tank attached to the fuel gauge cover.

Lucky guy!!! There was an owner of B12 also inspecting the QG15 when I was there. When I told him that my carby E13 gives 6-7 Km/L, he told that his E15 gives 3-4 Km/L

I do get dodged with that as well sometimes and sometimes tend to rebuild that old carby, but then considering the AC thing and as we intend to always run on petrol, I feel I should go for a swap. Engine is good as well, just eating up oil a bit and giving blue smoke, but runs well and starts well. Also, have never inspected other things such as plugs, wires or other important things as well. So yeah, it is a bit of a tricky decision.

Very good average you're getting from this clean ride. But I guess, EFI will still win with min 18-20 Km/L

Don't push me over I will tune that E15 and then you will be kicking yourself okay set aside the "money" factor lol

One should know the machine they have and also know how to get the nest out of it. a 39 year ld banger cannot do better, i know that. But E series nissan engines giving 3-9 km/liter made me show you this and i think i made my pint clear. Even a QG cannot give you 18-20 unless you know how to get to that. ANd BTW theoratically, the best you can get out of an optimized QG18 in B13 is 16-17 and for that you have to drive like an asthmatic grandma. on a lively run (spirited driving) expect 13-14 not to mention the braking and handling issues in that chassis.

You need to change the fuel pipes and proper wiring of QG before this questions! okay

No first hand experience but it should be able to do 17-18 max. The best I got is 17.2 from QG13 once but i had a cold/fever so was driving like a granny when i went to lahore and came back on same tank (41 liters)
