Trying to trace the position of coolant temperature sensor. But I would also need to find out which wire coming from ECU route should be connected to the fan. Meanwhile, I'll check if the sensor is there in the first place, and then its working properly with the help of DMM:
"Temperature Deg. F. ……….. Resistance k Ohms
68 degrees……………………. 2.10 – 2.90 k ohms
122 degrees………………….. 0.68 – 1.00 k ohms
176 degrees………………….. 0.30 – 0.33 k ohms
Use a Multimeter to measure across the sensor (with the connector removed). Check the connections too…. if the connector is all gooped up and corroded, this could give higher readings to the ECU and cause more fuel dump.
Also test the harness. Ignition on: terminal a to ground should read 5 volts.
Ignition off: terminal b to ground should have continuity.
If your sensor is bad, snag a 18mm deep socket, remove the broken piece of junk and replace it."
