Just realized that I never took the pics of "finished" (quarter finished) product. The best way would be to get the DLC connector working somehow and then scan for error codes.

Will take a few pics of the engine bay and post here ASAP.

Yeah man and you also have not started up with tracing the wires off the ECU. And what about the AC thingy? You definitely should connect that DLC Connector by at least seeing its wires from @akifjanjua car. Have a burger meet with him at lunch time, offer him some coke and burger and see through all his ECU wires connected as well as DLC grip, take pictures and post them here and try to wire it up like that.

and why is that, why would he be not able to scan it, that car was scanned by Nissan Rawalpindi as far as I know :). You gotta catch things up as soon as you free up from your social tasks. Also, important thing is that fuel pump, do wire it up or you owe me mutton karahi by this weekend.

Leaving the scan at Nissan Rwp aside:

I cannot wait to get my NISSAN diagnosed via K-LINE/ISO protocol using ANY diagnostic tool.. we have been trying to do this and has never worked for us because Nissan was using some proprietary protocol.. if this actually works... Nobel prize lalay

It's actually difficult for someone who is still struggling to find a starting point when it comes to DIY's. Whenever i open the engine bay, my mind gets blown up rather quickly. So I may end up with a mutton karahi every weekend

The other trouble is that opening the dash may not be too difficult, but putting everything back and in working order may take more than the two weekend days. And with this one being a daily runner, I'm least prepared to park it at home for days or possibly weeks. The very idea of using a cab for going to office scares me to the limits.

Nevermind, I don't have any other option than to get hold of this QG myself. My neighbor with A Nissan Wingroad told me that he has spent Rs. 10,000 on getting the CNG to work properly, still no success.

So leaving this in the hands of mechanics is sure a death path rather quickly for this power machine

u can also diagnose the engine with a blinking CEL method. i oftenly do it for my GA15de

How you do it, through clutch method or shorting some wires? I tried the clutch method, which didn't work. And I suspect if CEL is connected with ECU at all. It only appears when I turn the switch ON.

I Suppose your car is OBD2B. If you have ECU diagram then i can help you with diagram. I installed DLC in my accord. Went to Bilal Ganj and searched for odb2 dashboard. Made a deal for 400 rupee. Mine was K line interface so no big deal. only 6 wires to plug out of 16 pin connector

Unlike petrol gauge, that CNG gauge is not dead

Had to face immense resistance from family when shifted on petrol (So waiting for that 3 month closure of CNG). And btw, after tuning it from Khanna pul, it is running so good on CNG, I'm loving the perfect pickup and acceleration in perfect per Km cost

well.....wiring still needs to be sorted out. Lots to do like fan on auto, AC etc.
