B16 shouldn't be a problem I think. Ask Ahad or other local chaps, they should be able to help you. A normal B16a isn't an uncommon site in pakistan.

the mounts modification is done for h series in 95~00 civic's. b series do not require any modification body wise. we got the engine from HPR (isb) for 150k which included installation, 4 wheel disc conversion and our car was auto so converted it to manual, pedals, master clutch cylinder etc.

b16a3 manual with uncut wiring and manual ecu are very very hard to find. buying a b16 engine and then replacing the block with b18 can get things going very well for you. it all depends on the setup and condition of the engiine u r getting.

my brotherly advice dont go for these engines, u will eventually get tired. finding parts for b series is not a joke nowadays, i know first hand, go for the engine i told u, parts are available every where, its cheap, u can play alot with the engine interms of modifications. change the pulley's, retard the timing(a bit), pipping, headers, merc e280 fuel pump extra and then see wht the car does

it's OBD 0, they used to come in 88~92 civic hatchbacks and crx, they are pretty old

search on the net about b16 OBD 0 and b16 OBD I and OBD II. then u will know

if u gonna find it from somewhere else sooo u must pay at least Rs. 1250000 tht is minimum for B16A2 complete engine LSD gear Complete wiring with ECU Unit....

After tht ur mechanic wil also take 3000 - 4000 rupees.... tht u go for electrition... he will also take 4000 - 7000....

and extra will cost 5000....

u should pay minimum 1.5 k....

first of u would unable to find these engine in karachi....

i recommand u Toyata 4AGE 1.6 DOHC 4 cylinder 20 Valve Silvertop or Blacktop Engine....

it has 165 HP...

And this is best... my mechanic altered in anda charade its totallllllly runs on scratches even on 3rd gear... it touches 100 km/h just on scratches.....

guess hows the power?

and know u think about it cost.... only 45000 - 60000 for complete LSD Gear wiring ECU....

in power B16A2 & 4AGE Just no difference..... but in price soooo much difference....

now think ur self.....

if u supercharged it on 7 - 8 psi on stock injectors .... u will gonna crazy... it will give u the power of more thn 200 bhp.... now enjoy the power... and dont waste too much money.....

Not just stroke difference between B16A and B18C. The Type-R head flows better than anything. If you talk about B16B, then yes, only stroke difference.

I don't wanna start a 4AGE vs B16 war here but even Toyota owners claim the B16 is a superior design to the 4AGE.

ahad bhai jaan rates boht peak per hain... aap jayen tu sahi.... main week main 1 time shershah zarur jata hun... is waqt d15b only assembly 35000 se kam ki nahin... complete engine d15b kam se kam b 55000 - 65000 ka chal raha hai... aap jaa ke market tu touch karen.... or d16 tu hai hi nahin kisi k b pas bhai sahab... ab bataien aap kya kerne ka hai... i know b16a is really b16a... but not available in market... i just recommand every 1 b16a2 b18c5 & h22....

but 4age is not bad dear... try this engine once n thn tell me tht hows itx perfomance.... i m also thinking to alter it my civic 99-00 .... i hv tht engine gear n ecu... but half of the wiring is short.... and tht is the main prob....

My point was if swaping an engine just for quick acceleration than then there are other options when going to 250k.. ofcourse 7ag is self built design,, no match for b18 stock built as for life of engine and durability but it will deliever good power in less price.

If someone can spend big bucks then he can also change car too. so civic wont be the only choice.

if talking about "high priced" range and staying with stock engines then there are more engines and cars that can be considered. choice is less limited

@levin K20 and K24 are very expensive I saw one k20 for 200k and one K24 for 250k

Why exactly you want to change your engine ? Looking for more power ?
As the days passing by parts for B series and H series are getting very difficult to source out ..
Take my advice have your current engine tuned by a gud mechanic , take out CNG and be happy

And to all the toyota lovers...toyota cannot match Honda while in N/A form ..i havent seen a single N/A toyota which runs as gud as a b16 in both stock and modded form...!
And yes i own a toyota as well

i had a mood to get a b16 as a daily runner but then thought what if one day the water body starts to leak?
Oil seals start to leak? some sensor gives up?

better to get an engine which is in abundance in the market!
