Hey their guys!
I was planning to purchase a toyota 1uzfe engine!
If anyone has one for sale or knows a place where i can get a good piece !

Some of the best toyota's engines were very commonly available here. But since last few years, they almost disappeared from the junk yards like
1Jz
2JZ
1uz
5Vz
etc.

But most of these engines works best with RWD set up.

All those engines are 40 to 44 years old now, they have disappeared from global scrapyards too.

The successor for the obsolete junk is 1UR and 3UR

And they are fantastic engines, problem is that our awaam wants all the “mazaa” for free or nearly free

3ur isnt cheap in any global scrapyard.

My j95 also has 5vz 🫣 and she is my daily runner
Many of my friends has 80s land cruisers with 1HD & 1FZ

One of friends has j60 LC with 1hz and manual gear. And he has travel to many deep remote areas of mountains where normal SUVs don’t go.

Means despite these are old engines but still they are loved here

The question asked by the thread creator is about the availability of old engines. On which Xulfiqar replied that they are non existent across the globe. Those who have it already will surely continue to use till local regulations or spares availability restrict the usage.

It's time to move on newer engines for new projects.

Why not 1GR ??
1UZ is bit old and if you are talking about non vvti 1UZ then it's like finding a needle in hay stack

1GR isnt cheap and needs a bit sensible parha likha person to make it work.

Both these qualities automatically eliminate it from desi selection.

Speaking of non vvt 1UZ, try finding code matched crank bearing set for it from toyota now.. ill wait for the reply! 🤣

1gr is still cheap here talking about 1uz non vvti it costs around 850k plus.
And 1ur costs around 650k Lexus car engine but more expensive to start as immo and other stuff needs to be settle down.

1gr settles around 900k and a good 2gr settles around 600k.
But both needs a good craftsmanship to run.
Old 2JZ is costing around 600k these days non vvti.
And vvti costs around 500k
These days.
