EPS for Cultus EFI 2007 to 2016 in Karachi for cheap price

Dear Pakwheelers,

I need your help. I want to Install EPS in my cultus EFI 2008. In other discussion forums on Pakwheel, I got know that there are machenics who are charging too much around 20k for the conversion. Whereas people in Lhr aur RWP have got it changed for 6k to 8k, and after turning the steering, it automatically comes to its original state, in straight tires position, or you can say it on zero position.

I went o Khalid Bin Walid Road and met with a few mechanics, they said JDM Alto EPS can be installed but it will not return to Zero, we will have to do it manually, whereas I have seen some videos on youtube where people installed JDM Alto EPS and it returns to zero without any problem. I am already having a VXL which has an HPS, but it has oil leakeage problem, its rods and pumps leaks the oil, I have got them changed but it doesnt work for a longer period. Many mechanics have told me that HPS is not successful in Cultus and have suggested me to run it with malfuntioned HPS and dont repair it. New HPS with Pump costs 20k atleast. And its a burden on engine also, that is why i have decided to install EPS in my Cultus EFI.

I want to get this done within minimum cost as people are doing in other cities. Any known and reputable mechanic you know, pls suggest.

Please only suggest mechanics in Karachi. Outsider may share their experience whether Alto JDM EPS works fine in cultus or not? As far as I know, if it is correctly connected with RPM, it will work fine.

Please guide me, I am very much worried, it do3snt give me any pleasure while driving, the malfuntioned HPS has made it very hard.

Don't do it - it compromises the safety of the car. The reason is available in plenty of old threads on these forums.

The main cause of HPS pump leak is bad alignment done after repair - constantly holding the steering to keep the car centered causes excess load on the pump, leading to premature leakage and failure.

It's best to get the steering rack and pump properly repaired from a good workshop - avoid EPS conversion.

But now I can not waste time in experiencing who is a good machenic for HPS and who is not. It will only be known once I get the job done from them. And if the issue doesnt get resolved. I would have wasted my money. I have done this before too.

I have read pros n cons of both HPS n EPS. I am ready to take risk which comes with EPS. When I can drive a car without airbags, I can take any risk.

Still looking for suggestions for a machenic in Khi who could get this job done within minimum cost.

Installed eps in 2016 limited edition. All ok but on u turn or turning steering wheel don’t come to zero position . Plz tell me where is what wrong what should i need to do . Thanks
