EPS for honda civic reborn 2009

Assalam o alaikum, currently residing in karachi gulshan block-3 and wanted to request guidance for getting electronic power steering installed in my 8th gen civic as the hydraulic issues never end, already got a co plete kabuli rack complete with tie rod and rack end installed this march now its again making noise and leaking oil, im completely frustrated and have spent over 80k in last 2.5 years on this issue, kindly help me out

Who installs used scrap for hydraulic parts?

Did you ever replace the rubber hoses with new genuine parts? Or is everything either jugaar, kabuli and aam sasta rubber paaep with jubilee clip?

Yes he charged quite a lot for the pressure hoses
The only leaked once the main problem is rack
What do you suggest to do now, except for the reservoir bottle everything has been replaced so far, as im not too familiar with hydraulic parts so i dont know the qualtiy, he charged me 6000 for the pressure hose

I was tired of the multiple repairs to the steering rack due to repeated leaks so he suggested a kabuli rack so it will last a few years but obviously this also failed in 8 months

Go to a "mechanic with a brain"

There is only 1 pressure hose, the rest are return hoses and its critical that all hoses be replaced with brand new genuine parts with brand new genuine clamps as well.

Sounds like your guy never did a closed loop check on it. What oil was being used? Honda dont work with anything other than Honda genuine power steering fluid.

Is your car aligned perfectly? Because bad alignment will cause the system to overheat and die.

Yes it was aligned after rack replacement, those hoses were not new but the did not leak again, it is currently not leaking oil, but just has the cluncking noise coming from the rack when going over bumps for which the mechanic is saying ke probabli rack cut gya hai and will need repairs

Any leads on how to get an eps and where to get it installed, any drawbacks?

The eps clunks worse than the hps on Hondas.

Mechanic saying “probably” means hes not a mechanic at all. Get to the source of the noise, the rack is rebuildable.
