Estimated Carburetor price of Nissan Sunny B13

My Nissan B13 only gives 6Km/L

Mechanic checked and told me that 1 jet is not opening, because of which, it is drinking hell lot of petrol.

Can anybody give me estimated price of New/Kabuli Carb. Or I can replace the jets inside the carb?

3-4 mechanics messed up with my charade carburetor (my previous car), and I ultimately had to sell it. Now I'm again pissed off due to the carb issue.

Rebuild your carbs yourself with factory settings from your car's workshop manual. That's the only way to do it.

Well, I'm already thinking to get involved in stuff like that. Already studied the whole 200 page user manual to find some really surprising information,

I've already downloaded some manuals, will purchase some tools and get my hands dirty on this, rather than throwing my hard earned money on Rs. 38/Km petrol. But messing with carb myself is seriously too big a task

Carbuerator rebuild kits are available for 750-1k. That includes jets, vaccum, needle valves, gaskets. If carbuerator housing is fine, then a good mechanic can rebuild a perfectly working carb at much less expense compared to replacement one.

Exactly....Overhaul The DAMN Thing.....Everytime Finding Replacement Is Not The Solution...They Are Also Used And Might Have Done With Its Life

fuel pump cannot be culprit for high fuel consumoption. Carbuerator kit can be purchased from pindi saddar. Kiani autos, shahzad autos or imran autos. aska round, some other shops also carry nissan stuff.

Its E10 engine, I guess, many daysi mechanics have got their hands on it in the past.

When i purchased it last Sep, I quickly realized that previous owner never run it on petrol. I had to get the switch fixed to start it on petrol, and that too, with horrible results of 3Km/L. Btw, engine overhauled last month.

Its damn costly man, Rs36 per km... its too much get yor carburetor replaced as soon as possible, and also check its oil filter air filter and plugs.

my cousin's rx8 is giving 5kmp/l so why not a sunny b13, a good tuned and mainted b13 can give 10-11 kmp/l

spectra told you best, though I have also gone through that procedure i.e. overhauling carburetor and it gave me better drive, not remember of fuel though, but it definitely was around 9-10 km/l. If you cannot find the carborator kit, send me 1-2 jans and i'll purchase you carb kit from abid autos, or you can also purchase from them directly.

Thanks brothers for your guidance and advice. The engine is swapped E13 engine, and mechanic told me that the carb is from some "TT" Nissan car (don't know what it is?)

Checked with Shahid autos on phone yesterday. They told me that carb kit for 8 valve engine is available for Rs. 1250/-. I think 8 valve engine is that original 1000CC engine?

Will visit Gawalmandi some time soon (that topi drama long march may result in delaying it to next weekend)
