My question to all travel gurus

Can any oneadvise me about probable cost for a family tour to Naran for family size 5 (couple plus 3 kids) from Islamabad.

1. Cost of Transportation (Mini van) from Isl -Naran-Isl
2. 7 Days hotel stay
3. Jeep travel cost.

Would appreciate it.

You may try for PTDC transport from Flash man hotel-Rawalpindi saddar to Naraan but snow condition in this season does matter dear

Ooh thanks dear I forgot to mention I am currently away from Pakistan.. Planning to come Karachi this July 2015. Would like to travel Islamabad in Train as my kids like train travel sooooo much. So Naran trip will be (IA) on beginning of August. I have no idea of now a days cost of hotels and transportation. it would be good if I can get any reliable hotels contacts in advance.

August is peak season, so expect expensive hotels, jeeps and everything. Sometimes there is no space in hotels on weekends, people have no option but to sleep in their cars.

Better would be to book a jeep from Balakot which will stay with u for the next 5 days. I have a contact of reliable jeep wala with whom many PWers have made their trip.

@Xoofi can u tell me the charges for jeep stay with us for 4-5 days in Aug-Sept?? I want to visit Shogran, Siri Pae, Naran, SaifulMalook, n ussay agay agar possible hua to ik trip lulusar lake ka... kia places k hisab se charges hote hain ya distance k hisab se calculate hota hai

or hum agar koi rent a car service avail karna chahen balakot se to wo possible hai?? will u recommend it??

You can reach Naran kaghan on any vehicle. .from there need 4*4 jeep which u can get in 1k to 5k...hotel rates are 2k to 10k ..peak season july August that time rates high. U can book a landcruiser from isd to visit mostly everywhere without jeep.landcruiser rate 6000/24hour. Contact person 03401533630

is it possible for a junior driver (less experienced but holding licence) to drive personal car upto naran. because after all it is hilly area.

yes anyone can easily drive upto naran even not much expert in driving except few bad patches where need to little bit careful.

Experienced driver needed...any driver who can drive in big city..can also drive there...but driver belonging small city..need experience to drive in hilly area
