euro r doesnt come in auto....
but i do remember seeing some euro r wid auto trans some time back.....maybe that was a swapped k20a in an auto accord.....

Sir I will disagree with all three comments.

First of all... lets get a few things straight... Cl-7 and Euro-R are two different cars...

2ndly... Euro R is a sports variant for the accord where as Mark-X was launched as a semi-luxury/executive sedan... hence no comparison at all...

3rdly... No matter what you do... a Toyota will always be better then a Honda in every way... Lol!!

Both cars falls in the Performance Executive Cars, price and maketing is very much same in north America.

Mark X 3.5 2GR FSE V6 with air suspensions has a chance to beat the Accord in straight line, and some twisty roads, but even then a good driver can win easily on a track.

In a quarter mile drag 3.5 V6 will win definitely and 2.5 4GR FSE V6 will loose definitely.

I have compared with the X130 2nd Gen, if you will compare with the X120 first gen then both 3L 3GR FSE and 2.5L 4GR FSE will lose.

There was also a limited edition Mark x with a 316HP supercharger and we should not compare it.

the thread starter was talking about the 1st gen as thats the only one available in reasonable quantity in local market.....

And I'm thinking , ur source is wikipedia.....cuz ur probably the first man on this country to use "X120" for a mark x......

the 300g will win against an euro r as far as i know and according to wat i ve seen....
( my father owns a 300g, so i have an idea how fast it is compared to an euro r.....)
But the 250g will probably loose to a euro r in the short run, but has chances of winning at speeds above 180km/hr......which wud be like a half-full mile race.....

I don't think it can go much above 180km/hr! as its speed is limited around 190kmh!

same has also been done with markX, I have done it myself.....Ask someone like Mannerism etc.....they will tell u.....
These speed limiters can easily be removed as well....so ur point is quite pointless then....

Mark X is limited to 180 km/hr and so is the Euro R (if its Japan import, most likely it is)
But if the limiters are taken off then both these car can do wonders. But that's not predictable.

the all new 350g does it in 5.5 seconds...
300g takes atleast 6 seconds...
