Any member here installed Evaporative Air cooler (not normal lahori coolers) or have witnessed its performance?
I am considering going for one unit butï want to ensure its not waste of money.

Got it installed on May 1...worked perfectly so far.... but 2 days ago humidity was really high in Lahore, and cooler efficiency dropped a lot...

I believe its not gonna work on days with very high humidity....

but in 2 months I saved over 50k in electricity bills and comfort was no match...as we ran it 24/7 non stop and temperature was maintained between 22-25 in whole house....ladies were more happy as even temperature in kitchen was at very comfortable level

we used to run ac during night time only and it manages temperature in rooms only.

the unit is of same company buy grey color....it was for Rs.125K plus Rs.170/sq.ft for ducting

How many outlets did you put from one unit? You can't regulate airflow from different outlets right? It will be the same across all outlets..
Can you share few pics?

I got it installed in 4 rooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs.... 4 grills in total but I believe its good for at least 6 outlets as air pressure is very high and we run it on 40-60% speed

didn't want to break inside walls for duct passage, otherwise could easily install 2 more grills in inner area of the house

there is a damper in grill, like we have in car ac vent, you can reduce air flow or even completely close it for specific grill....

keep in mind, I think its not gonna work in high humidity but its a very good investment....
