Excise data correction

I bought a car which chassis number is correct on invoice and car body. Just have minor issue is that the 8 is written as B in excise record. What's the procedure of correction.

Also my father name have spell mistake by excise data entry also want to correct it.

if the cnic number is correct over regn papers and it is just an spelling mistake in the name then B=8 will not be a problem either.

you may visit exice office personally without engaging any agent and make an inquiry for issue. Asking any agent and you become a perfect candidate for scamming, a thick fee and the regn book will have an endorsement.

8 to B mistake in chassis number. The correct chassis number matches with only sale invoice. In all excise documents 8 is B. Because data was wrong entered in the system initially.
CNIC number is correct.

Correction is must brother !!!

Visit nearest excise office and ask for correction form.

Fill that form where the corrections are needed and submit to them with photo copies/proofs.

Within 24-36 hours it will be updated. Will cost under 1K

Long time back I had a vehicle who was mentioned as Cool Red in excise records. Whereas actually the vehicle was green.

I applied for correction and it was done.
At that time it cost me around 500 only. But having clean records is peace of mind.
