Experience feedback required..tour after eid days

AOA all
I have planned a tour to neelum valley kashmir after 12 days of eid ul fitr. However as i will be with family i am afraid about the situation in case of flood of tourists.
if any one on this forum who visited neelum last year after eid ul fitr please give me feedback regrading
1. Traffic situation
2. Accommodation availability
3. Any other problem he faced due to rush like fuel shortage, over charging of hotels/foods etc.

Just after eid or in eid holidays it will be definitely over crowd and traffic all over the tourist places but after 12 days I hope you will find much batter situation I think you should try your luck

It will not be over crowded after 12 days BUT you need to have reservations in advance as you are with FAMILY and comfort of the FAMILY COMES FIRST.

Advance reservation facilitators are asking too much for advance booking. Also my plans may deviate 2 or 3 days and if not i am afraid that due to traffic jams or other situation i may not stick to my plan and in that case booking amount wil be wasted.

I stayed in Upper Neelum Ajk huts last year a week after Eid ul Fitr
Pretty satisfied with those huts as they were clean nd comfortable
2rooms with 2 bathrooms plus a Kitchen and lounge with cabnets nd dinning table
Perfect for family nd charges were 3200 only(also a huge park with swings for kids nd all the huts are secure )
BUT the major drawback is the broken road.Highly not advisable to go on it with vehicle over loaded or weak engine plus you need a big heart to tackle with those sharp turns

wow this is too reasonable...Exactly where is the location of these huts? Do you have any contact number for booking?
Also as per my working. Car can go till sharda? is this not true?

Brother these huts are located in Upper neelum.As a you exit Keran you see a road ascending on to your left.Its a 2km long road with extreme heigt.Btw it will really test your driving skills nd patience nd brother which car will you be going on??Secondly sorry dont have their contact but just google AJK tourism nd you may find them.Car can go till sharda but there are a few nallas on the way which will freak you out.

Agree with muneeb highly recommended place to live. Its like heaven on earth, but road condition is so worse as one car can cross other at a time. Road is so steap, one needs a highly skilled driver for curves.

Don't worry much about the road, you can easily manage on a smaller car especially if you have some experience of driving in steep hilly areas. I have seen Toyota Coasters on the top, so cars should be no issue.

As an example, I took this vehicle last year to Upper Neelum. This is automatic, but 2400cc, 7-seater and quite bigger than Santro.

dont worry about the road. there is carpeted road till sharda and after that there are dirt track with some patches of road till KEL. but it is manageable for cars. we drove till kel on Baleno with full load. 3-4 water crossing will be facing till kel which needs some attention. All other will be fine.
as far hotels concern there will be too crowded in summers in whole neelum valley so u might be face little difficulty to find good hotels but it is also manageable. now a days there are many new hotels started.
Good places to stay with good hotels are Keran, Sharda and Kutton. there are Resort setup in whole neelum valley at every station by tourism department but they needs advance boooking. and booking can be arranged from muzaffarabad but in summers there are few chances to get booking of these resorts due to over crowded.

Brother the huts can be pre booked from Muzafrabad city.One of our officials pre booked them nd even paid in full at their office(Azad Kashmir tourism) so we faced no issues.It will be more feasible nd recommendable to pre book them at Muzafrabad so you face no issues after reaching your destiny.
As far as the road is concerned ,i personally would not recommend you to travel it on your own vehicle .Rather night stay in Keran alongside the river or hire a local jeep
However if you love adventure nd are very skilled driver then May Allah help you

Hahaha and yeah forgot to mention one more important point.Once you're about to reach Upper Neelum on to your left while ascending you"ll see a small dhabha type.That guys prepares delicious parathas(No resturant or hotel type sirf parathas he bnata hai)Do try them ..Very delicious
And do inform at home that no sims work there you gotta buy local sims or contact through their landline

Not really brother.All i know is any rate can be expected due to rush but on average it would be 5 to 10k
