This year holiday of Pakistan day 23rd of March fell on thursday. It took a day off from work for friday and had three days at my disposal, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. First I thought of visiting Malam Jabba but later on calculated that journey will be too exhausting with family and changed my destination to Nathiagali.
As government rest houses in Galyat area of KPK are open for booking, just wanted to give it a try. I opened the website, review of people who stayed in were good and rates were very reasonable off season. I booked a room in Retreat rest house Nathiagali that belongs to forest depth. Booking room room was quite simple and payment has to be made through bank transfer to account number supplied at website. Room rent was 2k per night. But suspiciously there was no confirmation response. Anyway as it was not tourist season I thought it was OK.
