Assalam o Alaikum. We had to buy two 1.5 ton inverter acs and a water dispenser, for our convenience we bought all three things from Kenwood (Kenwood e-glow inverters, Homage water dispenser).
All was well and good initially, but after a month or so the dispenser started acting up and it wasn't cooling the water anymore. We sent it to their service center they repaired it on warranty but after a few months it failed again. We sent it again, it was repaired and sent to us again but it's performance wasn't even half of what it was on day 1. We tried reaching them but they wouldn't send anyone to fix it and after a few months (warranty had ended) it completely failed and now it was time to recite fatiha.
Moving onto the Inverters, a week after they arrived the fin of one of them stopped working it was stuck in the bottom most position. They sent in a technician he repaired it and again that only lasted for 3-4 days. Moving an year ahead, one of the AC stopped cooling, both weren't in warranty anymore so we brought in a local technician and he saw that the coil was faulty, but it could be repaired. We got it repaired from him and that inverter works ok to this day (just with a broken fin). As for the other inverter, it stopped cooling a month ago, it was given to the service center and the same problem was diagnosed (cooling coil) but this time it had to be replaced. We paid the 11,400 for the coil and 4,600 for charging gas, after two days the AC arrived we installed it and to our surprise the blower wasn't working anymore and the unit started giving the error codes 39,41 which I believe are related to blower (keep in mind the blower worked completely ok before). We tried using the ac many times after that, but it would work for 20-30 minutes max and then give the same error again. We called them to send in a technician, they did sfter 4 dayd. When he arrived I turned on the AC, it functioned for 30 minutes after witnessing this the technician said that he has to go tend to other complaints, I informed him about the errors and told him to open it and look for any issues as this is not a human who would heal by itself but he assured me that it could be due to rain or voltage issue (which isn't an issue in dha phase 1), he gave me his number and asked me to call again if the ac acts up. I kept the ac running for an hour, surprisingly it kept on working. The next day when I turned it on, same error 39 and 41. I tried calling the technician more than ten times he didn't attend any of my calls, i went straight to the service center but they made excuses that why didn't you call the same day and that he must be busy today, i told them that I also have other matters to attend to and I have been calling him since 12pm, bc sadar thori hai pakistan ka k itna busy hai. Kher they will now send a technician tomorrow, let's see what happens then.
So guys, don't go after it's branding! Their products and their after-sales service isn't even worth a banana's peel. I thought I should share this as 3/3 products that I bought from Kenwood came faulty.
